Submitting a project

Luxembourg’s Ministry of Culture is launching this call for projects to compile the official programme for the ‘Rendez-vous aux Jardins‘ event.

Projects must be submitted by 10 April 2026 to allow time for a leaflet listing the events to be published.

The following may participate

  • Municipalities;
  • Non-profit associations;
  • Public interest foundations;
  • Groups, collectives, companies and commercial enterprises;
  • Groups working to raise awareness of cultural and natural heritage, scientific research and environmental preservation;
  • Individuals/natural persons;
  • Educational establishments;
  • Private or public cultural institutions, such as museums, libraries and archives;
  • Legal entities governed by private law;
  • Commercial companies and tourism operators;
  • Musical ensembles, choirs and soloists.

What projects can be included in the Rendez-vous aux Jardins agenda?

Any project illustrating the theme “The View“.

This edition explores how gardens can guide, structure and enrich our perception. It is an opportunity to contemplate the beauty of landscapes, observe details that escape initial observation, and consider what ‘seeing’ really means.

The theme can be approached from various angles, including different perspectives on how to experience a garden and playing with the perception of gardens through the five senses. Please note that the theme is not limited to physical gardens, but also encompasses artistic and digital representations, including paintings, engravings, photographs and 3D experiences.
The event will feature concerts, meetings and enjoyable or informative exchanges between garden owners, gardening professionals, composers, artists, choirs and music ensembles.

Conditions of participation

  • Participation in and promotion of the official programme is free of charge. Participants may charge an admission fee for their own events, but we recommend offering free or reduced-rate admission to promote access for all.
  • Friday 5 June is a ‘school day’: admission must be free for schoolchildren to raise awareness among young people of the beauty of gardens.
  • The Ministry of Culture reserves the right to refuse projects that do not meet the above criteria.
  • Each participant is asked to support ‘Rendez-vous aux Jardins‘ by promoting its programme through their available communication channels.
  • Each participant is free to display the ‘Rendez-vous aux Jardins 2026‘ logo.
  • Only projects available between 5 and 7 June 2026 may be included in the official programme.
  • Being included in the program does not guarantee automatic financial assistance. A specific application must be submitted to the Ministry of Culture by downloading the form in PDF format and returning it to us by email. All conditions relating to subsidies can be found on the Ministry of Culture website.

Here are a few tips to help you make your visit unforgettable

  • Recommended presence: an owner, gardener or guide to share the history and secrets of the garden.
  • Original activities: guided tours, themed tours, educational workshops, concerts, conferences and exhibitions.
  • Make it easy to explore by installing signage to identify plants and noteworthy features, or by providing a visitor guide (paper or digital).
